When he first set out to practice law, he noticed a frustrating trend – so much of the legal system seems built around conflict. Many lawyers often measure success by how well they can fight, argue, and litigate in a courtroom. But he knew early on that his passion wasn’t in picking up the pieces after a family dynamic had already been broken. His goal is to create a shield around families so that the friction hopefully never happens in the first place.
Matthew focuses on estate planning because he wants to emphasize preservation rather than confrontation. He finds it incredibly rewarding to spend his days meeting face to face with clients, helping them secure their hard work, and establish a clear, loving roadmap for the generations that follow.
As a proud Texas A&M graduate practicing right here in College Station, the concept of community means everything to him. Whether sitting in church on a Sunday morning or cheering alongside fellow Aggies at a football game, he is constantly reminded of how incredibly special our community is. He sees families working hard to build their lives, raise children, and create a lasting impact.
